Our Sanctuary

Our Sanctuary

Thunder Mountain is located on 250 acres near Keuka Lake, one of the Finger Lakes of Western New York.

The property has a beautiful 5 acre, spring-fed lake, an apple orchard and forests full of birch, oak, maple, and fir. It serves as a wildlife sanctuary for wild turkeys, deer, fox, hawks, and other wildlife.

Thunder Mountain is situated upon one of the highest points in the area with an incredible 180° view of the scenic landscape.

Easily accessible from New York City, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Toronto, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and Ithaca.

The PeaceWeaver Experience: Thunder Mountain allows each person to slow down, get grounded in the Land, get centered in the Self, and be consciously connected from the Heart to the Circle of Life. It is a sacred place for transformation – where we let go of habits and heaviness and open to healing, strength, love and compassion. Thunder Mountain is a spiritual home with great food, great fun, and grateful feelings. We each deserve to feel Loved, Supported and Inspired, and it’s always available here at Thunder Mountain.

Youth Experience: Our Sanctuary provides a one of a kind opportunity for kids to be on the Land – Mother Earth- in fresh air, under the Sun, the Moon and the Stars, and safe within extended community. A place where Peace is a tangible feeling and where each child can learn to share from the Heart, be heard for who they are, and be empowered in their own lives. They’re welcome to be part of any and all community events, and have Thunder Mountain be their “home away from home.”
